Getting through tough times

Every day you have chores to do When there is an uncomfortable situation for you to rectify, you can hjust consider it as a chore to do. You can break it down to smaller more manageablr chores, which will help the mind feel more relaxed and in control, and still get the job done.
We often feel emotions that we do not weant to feel, such as anger, guilt and fear.
If we instantly resist these feelings they tend to continue..what we resist persists.
Allow feelings to wash over you Resisting them can cause them to lodge in the body later causing pain or irritability. Forgive yourself when you are not feeling prrfect and see yourself as a little child who needs love and understanding.
Since you are an adult, you can now nourish this inner child within you.
Feelings comme and go and often do not even originate within us So we do not need to own them.
When feeling stuck in a negative emotion, imagine its counterpart,, and imagine that is now your mood.
When a thought scares you, imagine itss opposite thought.
Imagine a place that you love, and people that you love. Re-live a happy day in your life.
Daydream. Spend time day dreaming like you did when you were a chiold. How does it feel to feel healthy, and full of energy?
